Pull out your calendars and lock in the date: the Rogue Adventuregaine is set to make a return for 2013. Adopting its’ original 24hr format, the Rogue will see competitors battle it out over multiple legs of the traditional adventure racing disciplines of trekking, mountain biking and kayaking.
Preliminary course planning has been set and I am excited about the vast potential this area (approximately 2 hours north west of Brisbane) has to offer. It should be the most specatuclar Rogue course to date. With a centralised HQ and an unsupported format, the rogaine design should be achievable by any old weekend warrior looking for 24hrs of adventure while pushing elite teams to their limit as they chase the win.
So, lock in April 27th – 28th, 2013 into your race diaries. Places are strictly limited to 50 teams and expected to sell out when entries open early next year. Stay tuned for further information including entries, location, sponsorship and gear requirements. Look forward to catching you at the Rogue!
