After a very successful day meeting with land managers and scoping out sections of the Rogue12 course earlier this week, I’m more excited about this race than ever. The area is purpose built for a multisport rogaine with scenic paddling, an intricate single track and trail network for biking as well as an excellent area of open country for challenging off-track navigation.
After reviewing the planned course however, I’ve decided to make a number of subtle but important changes to the course logistics. Full details can be found on in the adventuregaine section of the website, however the main changes include an alternate race head quarters and the introduction of a bike drop for the 12 hour course competitors. These changes will allow for the best use of the area available and ultimately make for a much more exciting and acheivable course.
Anyway, entries have already started coming in. I can’t wait to get back out on this course again for more control setting.
