RACE DESCRIPTIONS
Raid Adventures is excited to announce the return of the Escape Raid in 2026 for its fifth edition! In the latest installment of this race, we will be hosting the Queensland Rogaine Association 8 hour rogaine champs on the Saturday. Following a fun night of campfires, puzzles and trading stories about the race, we will host a 3 hour paddlegaine on the Sunday morning. Two races – one fantastic weekend. The Escape Raid is achievable by novices whilst still challenging the most hardened adventure athletes as they all navigate an unmarked course with map and compass. This race is just as much about the campfire as it is the competition.
RACE HQ
Captain Logans Camp, Lake Wivenhoe, QLD.
The Captain Logan’s Camp Recreation Area is the perfect venue to host the Escape Raid. There are almost unlimited paddling opportunities on the lake surrounded by open undulating forestry and private land for intricate off-trail navigation for the trek stage of the event. Both events will start and finish at the campground. The venue includes toilets, hot showers, drinking water, some shelter and power along with direct lake access. Friends and family are welcome to join the event through our spectator camping and meal package. Catering for the Saturday night will be provided by Splityard Social cafe and promises to be fantastic.

Early bird entry fees are as follows (note that the early bird discount will apply when you go to make payment):
- Saturday 8 Hour Trek Rogaine Championship + Dinner – $85 per person.
- Saturday Competitor Overnight Camping – $20 per person.
- Saturday Spectator Dinner + Camping Package – $55 per person.
- Sunday 3 Hour Kayak Rogaine + Lunch – $55 per person.
