Raid 100 Announcement & Rogue Update

With all the uncertainty around events at the moment, I thought it would be nice to look ahead at the Raid series with a Rogue Raid COVID-19 update, big news around the Raid 100 and more.

The Raid 100: Northern Rivers Edition

Pull out your diaries and mark in the date: the Raid 100 returns from 1-7 May 2022. The race will be run through the Clarence Valley region hosted out of Grafton. With the longest untouched stretch of coast line in NSW, picturesque mountains and valleys to explore and some of the most iconic white-water rivers in Australia, teams will be set for 100 hours of spectacular racing. Entry applications open on October 2021 and are strictly capped. Not a race to be missed: check out all the gritty details in the event document linked on the event website here. (Ed Note: the original announcement of this event was for May 2021, however due to covid the event has been postponed until 2022 to avoid clashes with other major expedition races. A 24 hour event will be run in 2021 instead).

The Rogue Raid: Event Update

Linked below is a raft of important updates related to the Rogue Raid which is a must read for competitors entered in the race. The main points are that we are confident at this stage that the event will be going ahead under current provisions around the COVID-19 situation. Read on here.

The Wildfire Raid: Entries and Location

The Wildfire Raid has quickly become one of the premier sprint adventure races in QLD, with all the traditional rogaine format Raid goodness. Returning for it’s third year on 18 July 2020, the event will head to Lake Manchester. Entries are now open with full details on the event website here.

The Mojo Raid: Date Change

What may not be apparent when standing on the start line of any race is the hoops that the organisers have had to jump through to secure appropriate permits to host that event. Due to unforeseen difficulties with permits, the Mojo Raid organisers have had to move the location for the 2020 race, resulting in a date change. The new date is 29-30 August 2020. The Mojo Raid is now also a qualifying member of the Adventure 1 series! More information here.

Team Rogue Racing

After securing second place in the national Adventure 1 series for the second year in a row in 2019, the Rogue team will be back and racing again in 2020, kicking off their season with the Rogue Raid. Check out their planned calendar of events here.

If you have any questions about a particular race, drop us a line. Stay safe on the trails and the Raid Adventures team look forward to seeing you on the start line of a Raid race soon.
