It’s with disappointment that we have made the decision to postpone the Colts Academy training day originally scheduled for 15 April this year. Unfortunately, we have not received enough entry numbers to make the event viable. With a busy calendar of races in the first half of the year, a short lead in time, and a critical calendar clash with an Orienteering QLD training camp the same weekend, we have not had the opportunity to widely promote the training day and recruit sufficient numbers of participants.
The Colts Academy event has been rescheduled to Saturday 27 October 2018 and will remain a fantastic stepping stone into Adventure Racing. All current entrants will be offered a full refund
Please note that the Colts Raid race scheduled for Saturday 22 April 2018 is still set to go ahead with a fantastic course planned. It looks like the event should be a popular day out for some youth adventure racing – it seems like you guys are happy to just jump straight in head first into racing, which is awesome to see.
